Kazi Sherpa is an accomplished mountaineer with a remarkable list of achievements in the world of climbing. His most notable accomplishments include scaling the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, on two separate occasions – first on May 19, 2012, and then again in May 21, 2013. His successful summiting of this formidable peak showcases his exceptional mountaineering skills and his ability to tackle challenging conditions at high altitudes.
In recognition of his achievements and bravery, Kazi Sherpa was honored with the prestigious Khel Ratna award by the Government of Sikkim in 2014. Before conquering Everest, Kazi Sherpa had already proven his mettle by climbing various world-famous peaks. His list of conquests includes climbing Mt. Lako Khangje a virgin peak in 1997. He continued to add to his accomplishments with ascents of notable peaks like Panding Peak in Nepal, Tenzing Khang Peak in Sikkim, Papsura in Himachal Pradesh and Thilu Peak in Uttarakhand.
