Denzong Sherpa Association (DSA) official flag was hoisted on the top of the world "Mount Everest" on May 22, 2018, by Ms. Doma Sherpa everester from Nepal. It was a significant and historic moment for the DSA and its members as a whole. It was a moment of pride and achievement for all the Sherpa people of Sikkim.
DSA's sponsorship of Ms. Doma Sherpa's expedition played a vital role in making this achievement possible. It reflects the association's commitment to supporting and promoting mountaineering activities, especially among the Sherpa community.
To honor and recognize Ms. Doma Sherpa for her remarkable accomplishment DSA has felicitated her on the 13th International Day of Everest on May 29, 2019 at Kupup, East Sikkim.
