10 Sherpa aspirant candidates got the Free UPSC Coaching scholarship at New Delhi

A total of 10 aspirant candidates from Sherpa Community have been selected for the Free scholarship for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) coaching at New Delhi, with the initiative being sponsored by the State Government of Sikkim. This commendable effort aims to provide educational opportunities and support to enable Sherpa youth to excel in the highly competitive field of civil services. 

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts one of the most prestigious and competitive examinations in India, including the Civil Services Examination. Clearing this examination opens the door to a career in the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS), Indian Foreign Services (IFS), and several other prestigious positions in the government. 

The scholarship offers selected candidates the opportunity to receive coaching and guidance from experienced professionals in the field of civil services at a reputed coaching center in New Delhi. This intensive coaching program will equip them with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to excel in the UPSC examination. 

This initiative reflects the commitment of the State Government under the farsighted leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), to promote inclusivity and provide equal opportunities for all communities within the state of Sikkim.
